Hey what can I say , it is a chalk board. My mom cannot remember things so I purchased the Chalkboard in order for me to write the date and day and important upcoming events on it and hung it in her tv room. I change it every morning before I leave for work. It helps her during that day.

Don't waste your time and money with this board. It's not a "slate" type board and it's IMPOSSIBLE to write on. Chalk doesn't even show up!

The board looks really nice, but the surface is too slick to write really well on. The chalk is barely visible, even when you press hard.

I bought this for my 3 year old. It is made of such cheap board that I tried 3 different types of chalk- don't waste your money. YOu have to push hard and write over your lines many times for it to show up!
