I am a fairly heavy duty tp user and this is my brand. I just got a 20 pack at the "W" store for about $13 not on sale, and some girls in line say you can sometimes get it on sale for $10, so I felt like a big dope for my great deal. This is a good value online, but if you can make it out to a cheaper big dept. store or grocery where this goes on sale, you might save BIGGER.

I bought this because it was part of a promotional deal and the TP I intended to buy was not in stock. Mistake on my part! It's definitely one-ply and just feels thin and cheap. My husband used it for the first time and I heard him comment "I didn't know they could make 1/2 ply!" and "This really puts the 'paper' in toilet paper." It works OK if I use at least twice what I'm used to, but I won't be buying it again. It's not scratchy or anything, but certainly isn't soft.
I guess it would be fine if thin one-ply was really what you wanted for some reason.

This has to be the best tissue out there for savings and quality. Yes it's one-ply and it's not a thick one ply, but its durable and my kids don't ever clog the toilet with this tissue. Every other tissue seems to have that happen.

I hate to do a bad review on a product and seldom ever do but I just had to review this. Scott tissue 1000 - (regular), has honestly got to be the worst toilet paper I have ever bought. The 'one-ply' is simply that - one extremely thin layer of toilet paper. It is also not at all soft or absorbent. The Scott company is highly reputable however, on this product they certainly fell short. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1, is because of the great value. Great value or not, I will not be buying this TP again.
