Waveboard is like a skateboard built on a riding system called a caster board. The wheel can able to rotate 360 degrees. It connected the platforms by a torsion bar which allows to pivot about X-axis. The skateboard, snowboard, and a surfboard is all in one in wave board. The waveboard can distinguished from the other boards by the method of propulsion. A method of propulsion is when the rider push his back foot forwards and backwards or move the whole board in transverse wave motion or an S motion. This propulsion is used by snakeboards although the dynamics is different. This propulsion allows to move uphill or downhill without taking your foot off the board like what you do on the skateboard. Turning a waveboard is different from the turning method on a skateboard. The rider must flex the front of the board in the direction they want to turn. To have a sharper turn, the rider must flex the back of the board in the opposite direction as well as the flexing the front of the board to the direction they prefer. Safety is the most important to wave boarding. Safety pads and helmets should wear as well as a comfortable shirt and pants/shorts. But the most important is the shoes to wear is wave boarding shoes.
