Product Description
This is a 41" Full Size guitar for the beginner to intermediate user. The guitar features: - Solid Spruce Top, Mahogany Colored Back and Sides with white trim, Rosewood Fretboard and Bridge, Dot Inlay on Fretboard, Stainless Diecast Tuning Pegs, Traditional Headstock w/ Inlay, Fully Bound with Abalone Trim on Perimeter, Mahogany Neck with Truss RodIt The Steel String Acoustic Guitar is perhaps the most versatile and common guitar type. The Steel String Acoustic Guitar has a loud, bright ringing tone that clearly projects to the listener. This type of guitar is the backbone of most country and bluegrass bands. It's perfect for backing a singer and its stylistic palette encompasses everything from New Age and Country Blues, to hot Bluegrass flatpicking, jazz fusion and "unplugged" rock. Sound, beauty and price were all blended together when this guitar was created. From the deep, warm tones of the Mahogany back and sides to the loud, bright projection of the Solid Spruce top you'll never want to play anything else after you've put your hands one one of these guitars.

Customer Reviews:
3 out of 5 stars It serves its purpose   July 23, 2010

You should clearly understand what is that piece will be used for. I fly a lot and sometimes I want to take my own guitar. A while ago I started to be concerned about safety of my guitar (and don't get me started on air travel). So before my guitar could be broken or damaged by one of our friendly customer oriented air lines, I decided to look around and find some piece that I would not regret if I lost it in any way. So after brief search I found pieces in two price ranges that could work for me. One was about $30 and I thought "that could not possibly be called a music instrument" and another was that one for about $50. I was kind of encouraged about that particular piece because seller indicated that original price was $130 (!) and $50 was just an incredible sale. So I went ahead and bought it. I also secretly hoped that it would come with some sort of foam pillow around its neck - the thing I foolishly discarded years ago and now realized I needed badly. So "it" came. I unpacked it, saw that there is no neck pillow. I tuned it. I gave that beautiful piece of wonderful workmanship proudly bearing a label "made in china" a try. Now, being almost entirely but not quite satisfied with my purchase I am writing this review. First off. Have I fulfilled my goal? Yes, I have. Now I have a piece that I will not hesitate a minute to take into airplane or to my next outdoor trip. If it gets broken I would not even file a complaint, which certainly saves me my nerves. If I'd get lost in wilderness, I know that I now have a piece of wood to boil cap of water on. Hey! it also makes sound! So what exactly keeps me awake? A terrible sense of greed. I could have bought a piece for $30 bucks and put difference in bank in case I need to replace that.

With that, I am wrapping up. Quality of sound and its comparison with sound of the guitar I will leave for other reviewers, or for readers to decide. As long as you know the purpose of your purchase, you are fine. Just... don't give it as a gift to your son or daughter even if they just want to "learn" to play. Have a pity and spend $50 more bucks for something else with brand name on it.

5 out of 5 stars Great guitar for cheap!   June 11, 2010

Let me just preface this review with the disclaimer that I know very little about guitars. I was looking for a super cheap guitar in order to find out if I would still have the same desire to learn guitar after a few months of playing it as I do right now. This guitar perfectly suited my needs because it only costs 35 dolalrs.

Lets start with the packaging. Guitar came double packed in cardboard. Outer box was a large rectangle, inner box was a trapezoid shape to fit the guitar smoothly. A pick and allen wrench came with it.

The guitar itself, structurally wise, is glued together. It smelled of glue and you can see the excess glue if you look at where the pieces are connected. The outside is a laminate but the fretboard is real wood. The guitar on the back and sides is a "rosewood" color.

I should also mention that the brand is a crescent since it doesn't say that in the description.

The guitar seems to hold a tune pretty well so far. It has only been two days though. I am having a lot of fun playing it but my fingers ache with the pain of starting guitar!

There is only one peg for the strap on the the end of the guitar so if you want a strap you would have to tie to the headstock or take it to a shop to have them add a peg.

The guitar plays pretty nicely. Although since I have never played the guitar I can't tell if it sounds good or not. Thats a pro and con I guess.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this guitar with no reviews but for 35 dollars I decided to pull the trigger. This guitar may not be the best guitar in the world, but for 35 dollars I couldn't be happier. It would be an excellent guitar to get for someone who is just starting out since you don't have to spend a lot of money in case they drop the guitar after a month.

5 stars for this very cheap guitar. Well worth the money.

Since this will be the only review if you have any questions leave it in a comment.
