 poor design, wipes too dry and stick together August 7, 2010

drawn to the eco-friendly nature of these (and the packaging) i bought a case of these. the resealable tab on the package falls off within the first few wipe usages, causing the wipes to dry out even more (they start off unusually dry). and the sheets don't dispense one by one when you pull them out and instead come out in a long chain of wipes, so when you have one hand free (the other hand bracing a dirty tush), you have to really whip them to "break the chain". i found myself using more wipes than needed and-or stuffing crumpled wipes back in the package. do dry, crumply, stuck-together wipes = yikes.
the one great thing i really liked was the scent (we got lightly scented). they smell natural and clean. but due to all the other poor design qualities, we won't buy these again!

I (used to) absolutely love this brand of wipes. In a world of so many baby wipes, and only a couple good ones, I was so excited to find Nature Babycare wipes when my son was born. But just recently they changed their wipes!!!
The 3 (new) problems:
1. The sticker covering the hole where you pull your wipes out is much smaller, and comes off, whereas the old model it never did.
2. The new wipes, like so many other brands, now stick together when you pull them out. Grrrr...Especially when you're dealing with a poopy diaper and a kicking baby and only have one hand to tug on wipes!
3. These wipes used to be perfectly moist--not over-moist, again, like so many wipes in the wipe world!! But now they are more soaked and leave more of a residue. Our babies butts don't need more moist--they need DRY!!
Thanks for reading...Try these wipes anyway, as they are still a little better than most wipes...Unfortunately that isn't saying much anymore.

Eco-baby mama
I am an avid shopper of eco-friendly baby products and was excited to try these wipes out. While the packaging was lovely, the wipes were too dry. It's pretty difficult to wipe a soiled bottom clean with these wipes without really scrubbing. I e-mailed the company and was told to add some distilled water. Too much effort for a wipe for me. I will give some of their other products a try, but not the wipes again.

for me they just don't do the jobs. They are so dried that when I try to wipe my daughter's butt it gets so red and doens't get cleaned.
